Courtney + Ian were visiting New Zealand from Australia and booked me as their photographer to remember their time in New Zealand together. They chose Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park seeing as it’s such an iconic New Zealand location fully immersed in the mountains. I honestly couldn’t think of a better location for them! They don’t see snow often, so as we both drove into Mount Cook we were soooo surprised to see HOW MUCH snow was on the ground!
Ahh this collection of bride + groom portraits are my new favourite!! I met Brittney + Brodie out at Cowboys in Queenstown, New Zealand. B + B are from Australia but were visiting Queenstown because they were ELOPING on the following Monday. The moment they said that I of course was asking alllll the questions […]
I met E + L in the morning at Peppers Bluewater Resort in Lake Tekapo. I helped document a few special moments for Emily, such as a few details (cologne, perfume, jewellery, rings, shoes, dress), her mom helping her into her dress, putting on her earrings + necklace, her bridesmaids. I spent about an hour or so hanging out with everyone, getting to know them, making sure I was comfortable with everyone and everyone was comfortable with me. This is so important to me because I feel like when we’re all on comfy terms, we can really be ourselves which allows us all to let loose on the day so I can capture each + every moment exactly how it’s happening!

Angela and Strawn from Oklahoma City eloped in Lake Tekapo, New Zealand with two friends/witnesses. Embracing the garden of their Airbnb for the ceremony, they celebrated under perfect weather alongside celebrant, Jade Whaley. From growing up in Chicago to now being a Lake Tekapo-based elopement + wedding photographer, I adore capturing such mountainous elopements + weddings, inspired by the scenery.
Grace + Braedyn celebrated their wedding in their hometown, Fairlie, South Canterbury. It was such a sunny and HOT day. When I say there wasn’t one person smiling the whole day – I mean it! My favourite part about weddings is seeing how happy everyone is to be together. There aren’t many events in life where all of your favourite people are together in one space, especially for G + B! A lot of their guests travelled from different regions of New Zealand as well as Australia!

When Tory + Heath asked me to photograph their intimate elopement at Braemar Station, I was so excited! They booked out Station Cottage which had EPIC views of Mount Cook so you know I was counting down the months + days for this day. T + H kept their elopement very intimate, only having their […]
Luxury backyard weddings hold a special place in my heart – the comfort I feel of being around someones home, full of so many memories from years before and little keepsakes that are displayed around are so wholesome to me and feel it makes your wedding photos even more meaningful
